Development
Services PDMSTM development is often associated
with a number of activities;
Modifying existing forms in PDMSTM and even creating new ones using PML.
Modifying existing GUI (user interface) files to reset default options for
the users.
Adding selection options to GUI files.
Creation of new modeling and drawing applications.
Creation of software interfaces to other CAD or Database products. Modified
and additional GUI files need to be kept separate to protect them from being
overwritten if the software is re-installed. Care must also be taken when
upgrading to a new version. Files may need to be modified
again to be compatible at future releases. PCS can
assist clients directly with custom programming, or we have a working
relationship with several capable contract programmers. PCS could also
help with writing the scope and functional criteria to have the development
written and maintained by AVEVA. Our
knowledge of the software's capabilities and available data gives us the
ability to define the development requirements that are not only achievable,
